Master choreographer Harrison McEldowney expertly brings the Swing Era to life in this high-energy showcase for the multi-talented dancers of Ballet Nebraska, backed by live onstage jazzfrom the sizzling DoyleMusic Combo.
It evokes the spirit of the war years through dance vignettes that range from rollicking, to elegant, to poignant, to romantic. You’ll be swept away as a guy, a girl, and their friends flirt, kick up their heels, fall in love, and most of all… Swing, Swing, Swing!

In Progress: Ballet Nebraska Documentary
Omaha documentary filmmaker Lance Glenn has begun work on a film about Ballet Nebraska’s beginnings, and sent us this “teaser” trailer.
